The Nauvoo Pageant begins in...

days, hours, minutes, and seconds

No Reservations Needed, No Tickets Required

The Nauvoo and British Pageants are performed annually in beautiful Nauvoo Illinois. A cast and crew of more than 1,100 volunteers bring early British & Nauvoo history to life in these inspirational musical productions. They tell the stories of early Latter-day Saints in who fled religious persecution from 1839 to 1846.

The pageant scripts are based on actual journal entries and historic records from the 1800's. The Nauvoo and British pageants allow audiences to view the close and continuing relationship between Mormons in the British Isles and the United States. The faith, devotion, and sacrifice of these early church members is highlighted in these inspirational productions performed on alternating nights in an intimate outdoor setting.

The Nauvoo Pageant is presented on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings, with the British Pageant on Wednesdays and Fridays. The Pageant's Preshow Celebration and Country Fair begins each night at 7:00 p.m. with pageant performances starting at 8:30 p.m. Events are free of charge with no reservations required.
